When in the process of giving a move order, a lot of supporting information for movement then pops up.
Extremely helpful *contextual* visual indicators. I’ve yet to see another 3D RTS which even comes close to how quickly and simply that I can give move orders in a 3D space, even though mice and monitors are 2D devices. Movement control is a simple two step, where the first sets horizontal movement, then *optionally* holding shift or click and drag for height.
Even the old VOs were brought back which makes the dialogue fit in and not suffer a disconnect between the impressive visuals and what would have been unfortunately crumpled sound quality. Graphically these remasters are stunning, with the art team paying high respect towards the original art directions and motives behind the designs to make faithful, excellent quality remodels and graphics for these two games.
